Therapy for athletes, former athletes, and high-achieving adults who are tired of performing their way through life.
You set the bar high and clear it every time, but it never feels like enough. You’ve built your whole identity around what you do, and you’re not sure who you are without it. The pressure to perform follows you everywhere, long after the final whistle. You look like you have it together. Inside, you’re exhausted.
Practical therapy for athletes and high-achieving adults facing pressure, transition, anxiety, and burnout.
The inner critic that keeps raising the bar, the fear of failure that hides underneath relentless drive.
Who you are when sport ends, a role changes, or the thing that defined you no longer fits.
When your nervous system has been in overdrive for so long it doesn’t know another setting.
Because success on the outside doesn’t always match what’s happening on the inside.
If you’re ready to better understand yourself, navigate life’s transitions, and find a healthier way forward, therapy can help.
Cindi is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a former Division I volleyball player, and a collegiate coach. She’s occupied every seat in athletic culture. She knows what it feels like to tie your worth to your performance, and she knows what it takes to untangle that.
This isn’t therapy that asks you to leave your competitive nature at the door. It’s coaching that meets you where you are.

Cindi’s presentation was incredibly helpful! Her insight into how the culture of perfectionism impacts athletes was very helpful.
Great look at the dynamics of perfectionism and how it’s driven by culture/not avoidable but also maladaptive.
This session was so validating to my own experience and the identity work I do with teens across the board.
Such great info and targeted focus. I learned things! Also super validating for my work so far.
Great emphasis on the problem and clients that needs us to speak to them in their language and support them in a way that they can accept!
Great tools that help bridge the gap between stakeholders and identifying key areas to account for in the therapeutic process and to make lasting outcomes.
Great talk and very relatable! I loved the real life application and story of your life and how you related your real life experiences to your talk!
I would say this helped open to eyes to be able to break down big ideals into bite sized chunks that are easily digestible! I also feel that it’s very relatable for my clientele base and can be easily integrated into what I am actively doing in my sessions.
I’d say that I learned a lot. I felt redirected and informed of how to better my mental health, treat my body well, accept it and become better!
I would say it is very inspiring and educational for any student athletes. I think it is very important to know.
Cindi was a great speaker for our team! She is very relatable and real and was easy to connect. 100% recommend!

Therapy is clinical and goes deeper. It's the right call if you're dealing with anxiety, identity loss, trauma, or patterns that keep showing up no matter what you do. Coaching is goal-oriented and doesn't require anything be “wrong.” If you're not sure, reach out and we'll figure it out together, that's a normal first conversation to have.
Therapy is limited to those four states by licensing boards. If you're elsewhere, coaching is available to you anywhere, virtually.
No. That's actually the myth I spend most of my time dismantling. Ambition and burnout aren't the same thing, and you can care deeply about performing well without it costing you your health.
I'm a regular therapist. What's different is that I've actually played and coached at the D-I level, so I bring that lived perspective into the room. Sports psychology tends to focus mostly on performance. I look at the whole person behind it.
Yes. A lot of people who end up here aren't in crisis, they're just tired of pushing through and want a better way to operate. That's exactly what coaching is for.
